Dress Code

**(updated to be more inclusive of the current style of dance clothing and dance styles, as well as address new styles that are problematic to growth/safety of the dancer)**


2-3 year old Creative Movement

Snug fitting activewear/ dance clothing.


PreK and Kinder Ballet/Tap

Solid leotard with pink tights with pink ballet shoes and tap shoes. Dance skirt or tutu allowed. Boys: active shorts and snug tank top or tshirt. Hair up and out of face.


Elementary and Middle-High School Jazz/Tap Combo and Lyrical/Hip Hop Combo

Leotard with dance shorts, leggings, convertible tights, and/or two piece dance outfit. No sweats, street clothes, or loose fitting clothing. Boys: active shorts and snug tank top or tshirt. Black jazz shoes and indoor sneakers. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head.


Hip Hop and Tap Only (not combo classes)- all levels

Tight or loose fitting activewear/dance clothing and indoor sneakers/tap shoes. Hair up.


Acrobatics and Tumbling- all levels

Leotard with dance shorts, leggings, convertible tights, and/or two piece dance outfit. No sweats, street clothes, or loose fitting clothing. Boys: active shorts and snug tank top or tshirt. Hair up with flyaways/face strands pinned back. Bangs out of eyes are acceptable. No shoes or socks.


Competition (premier, petite, principal, prep) Team Choreography Classes and Non-Ballet Technique

Leotard with dance shorts, leggings, convertible tights, and/or two piece dance outfit. No loose tank tops, sweats,

street clothes, or loose fitting clothing. Warmups are permitted for warmup time of class only. Boys: active shorts and

snug tank top or tshirt. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head with flyaways/face strands pinned back out of face. Bangs out of eyes are acceptable. Pirouettes, bare feet, or shoes requested by instructor.


Select and Elite Team Choreography (select and elite) Classes

Leotard with dance shorts, leggings, convertible tights, and/or two piece dance outfit. Tank tops, sweats, joggers, t-shirts with base layer of sports bra/dance top are permitted, but may be asked to go to base layer tight fitting clothing for safety according to choreography. Street clothes (ie jeans, coats are not permitted). Boys: active shorts and snug tank top or tshirt. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head with flyaways/face strands pinned back. Bangs out of eyes

are acceptable. Pirouettes, bare feet, or shoes requested by instructor.


Select and Elite Non-Ballet Technique

Leotard with dance shorts, leggings, convertible tights, and/or two piece dance outfit. No loose-legged pants, sweats,

street clothes, or loose fitting clothing. Boys: active shorts and snug tank top or tshirt. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head with flyaways/face strands pinned back. Bangs out of eyes are

acceptable. Pirouettes, bare feet, or shoes requested by instructor.


Ballet Technique, Pre-Pointe, Pointe

Solid colored leotard, ballet-pink footed or convertible tights, ballet-pink ballet shoes or pointe shoes. Hair secured in bun or tightly to head with flyaways/face strands pinned back. Bangs out of eyes are acceptable. Boys: Black ballet pants, white snug top, black ballet shoes.


➤Dress code non-compliance consequences (NEW!):

1st offense- warning and reminder note sent home from class.

2nd offense- will participate, but be counted absent (marked as non-compliant in our system) from the class, and will need to make the class up with another HADA class within a 2 week timeframe.

Future offenses- same as 2nd offense, but if it becomes a regular habit, parents will be included in a problem solving meeting with instructor(s).

Are you interested in private lessons or a solo for the 2024-2025 school year?


1. All tuition, costume, and competition fees must be PAID in full, and CURRENT each month.

2. Technique and choreography classes (all classes you registered for) must be in good standing with

attendance policy each month.

3. Private Lessons will be billed the 1st of every month and are due the 10th, if they are not paid in full by

the 10th a 5% late charge will be added to the balance every 10 days.

4. Private Lessons are charged at a rate of $25/ half-hour.

24/25 Season Tuition Information

One 30 min class: $35/month ($8.75/class)


One 45 min class: $43/month ($10.75/class)


One 50 min-1 hr class: $47/month ($11.75/class)


One 1hr 15 min-1hr 30 min class: $69/month ($17.25/class)


Two 50 min-1 hr classes: $47/month per class ($11.75/class)


Three-Five 50 min-1 hr classes: $45/month per class ($11.25/class)


Six-Eight 55 min-1 hr classes: $43/month per class ($10.75/class)



Unlimited Individual: $350/month ($5.50-$10/class)


Unlimited Family: $450 ($3.50-$6.25/class)


Tuition is due on the 1st of each month (September-April), and late after the 10th. A 5% late fee per week will be applied to your account for every 10 days that payment is late



Payment options include cash, check, automatic credit card payment, and credit card.



A non-refundable registration fee of $10 per dancer or $20 per family maximum will be due at time of registration.



**If you need to pay a bill for a competition, please write a check or place cash in an envelope with your childs name and drop off in the tuition box at the studio**

Due September 30th - $40/dancer for “Neverland”

Due March 1st- Recital (see below and find your type of class)

-$75/dancer/class (for Jazz/Tap, Ballet/Tap, Lyrical/Hip Hop Combo Classes)


Competition Choreography (Per Dance)

Due September 30th- $40/dance for “Neverland”

Due November 1st - $75/dance for Competition *shoes are not included


Elite Team (Per Dance)

Due September 30th- $TBA/dancer for “Neverland” (according to part cast)

Due November 1st- $75/dance for Competition (some costumes can go up to $100, but some will be less. I will add charges as purchased, and apply the $75 paid per costume and credit/bill rest of amount.)
